29 Phuket Phang Nga venues listed in The Michelin Guide

PHUKET: The Michelin Information Thailand has revealed that 29 eating venues and eateries in Phuket and Phang Nga have been included in its record of Bib Gourmand eateries for 2022.

The announcement, launched yesterday (Dec 9), comes forward of the official launch of “The Michelin Information Bangkok, Phra Nakhon Si Ayutthaya, Chiang Mai, Phuket & Phang-Nga 2022” to be held in Bangkok Thursday subsequent week (Dec 16).

In whole, 133 eating places and avenue meals institutions are featured within the 2022 Bib Gourmand choice. Of these, 71 are in Bangkok, 23 in Chiang Mai, 29 are in Phuket & Phang Nga, and 10 are in Ayutthaya – coated for the primary time within the fifth version of The Michelin Information in Thailand.

The brand new version contains 33 first-time entries ‒ 9 in Bangkok, 10 in Ayutthaya, six in Chiang Mai, and eight in Phuket & Phang Nga ‒ and 6 “promoted entries: two every within the Bangkok Chiang Mai, and Phuket & Phang Nga listings.

The 2022 Bib Gourmand choice highlights span a mixture of eating places, avenue meals venues and hawker stalls.

Notably, the variety of Bib Gourmand eateries beneath the “Road Meals” class outnumbers that of these beneath the “Restaurant” class in Bangkok (39 avenue meals institutions vs. 32 eating places) and Ayutthaya (six avenue meals institutions vs. 4 eating places).

The Bib Gourmand distinction, symbolized by the famed ‘Bibendum’ or ‘Michelin Man’ licking his lips, is awarded to eateries that supply high quality delicacies fastidiously ready and fairly priced with excellent value-for-money at a most of B1,000, for a three-course meal of starter, predominant course, and dessert – unique of beverage.

Among the many eight new additions to the 2022 Bib Gourmand record, added  to the Phuket & Phang Nga part are:
